Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,900 applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 475 or higher to apply for permanent residence. The CRS score increased 11 points from the previous all-program draw held on October 2nd, 2019. As of July 10th, IRCC has been issuing expanded draw sizes. The 3,900 Invitations to Apply (ITA) issued in today's draw brings the total number issued in 2019 to 71,700.

Today’s draw also marks the 129th round of invitations since Express Entry came into force and with that, IRCC has applied its tie-breaking rule with the time stamp of August 29th, 2019, at 03:50:24 UTC. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 475 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 475 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time, will receive an invitation in this round.
