Andrew Bailey has written to Parliament giving FSA's views on the draft Bill on banking structure reform. FSA agrees with the new objective for the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) to ensure continuity of core banking services but wants some explanation on how this interacts with the integrity objective. It also says that directors of ring-fenced banks should have a duty to ensure the integrity of the ring fence. (Source: FSA Writes to Parliament on Banking Structure Bill)
