The FSA has published Handbook Notice 70b. This Handbook Notice introduces the FSA Handbook and other material made by the FSA Board under its legislative powers on 31 October 2007. The changes to the FSA Handbook consist of:
- Providing compensation arrangements for consumers, allocating funding fairly across firms and sectors and reducing the volatility and unpredictable nature of levies payable by firms.
- Amendments relating to sterling stock liquidity.
- Consequential amendments resulting from the new provisions that have been made to implement the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive.
