As of 1 September 2013 the Department of State will require new immigrant visa applicants to apply online using Form DS-260, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, and Form DS-261, Choice of Address and Agent. Both forms found here are available at the Consular Electronic Application Center.
These new electronic forms replace paper forms DS-230 and DS-3032. If an applicant has previously submitted a paper form DS-230, he/she may be required to submit a new online form. Only Diversity Visa and Cuban Family Reunification Parole applicants may continue to use the paper forms. Further questions may be directed to the National Visa Center at [email protected] or +1 603 334 0700.
