FSA has fined Andrew Ruff and Richard Lindley, former directors of Alpha to Omega (UK) Limited (A2O) for widespread compliance failings. Following a review of the files on an appointed representative of the network, FSA commissioned a skilled persons report, which showed risks of customers receiving unsuitable investment advice. Mr Ruff was fined £28,000 and banned, as he was primarily responsible for the compliance arrangements at the time. Mr Lindley was fined £14,000. A2O is in liquidation.
