As the provisions of the Legislation Act 2012 are all now in force, the term "legislative instrument" will be used to describe legislation formerly known as "regulations" or "statutory regulations" and the term "other instruments" will be used to replace the term "deemed regulations". You may wish to reflect the terminology changes if you're updating your contract precedents.
