Today, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,600 applicants with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 457 or higher to apply for permanent residence. The CRS score today decreased 9 points from the previous draw on August 12th, 2019.

This is the fourth consecutive draw that has had a relatively high number of invitations issued compared to the previous rounds this year which have been capped at 3,350. The 3,600 ITAs issued in today's draw brings the total number issued in 2019 to 56,200.

Today’s draw marks the 124th round of invitations since Express Entry came into force and with that, IRCC has applied its tie-breaking rule with the time stamp of March 24th, 2019, at 15:32:42 UTC. This simply means that all candidates with a CRS score of 457 or above, and previous candidates with a score of 457 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected tie-breaking date and time, will receive an invitation in this round.
