• On April 6, 2010, Congressman Henry Waxman (D-Ca), Chair of the House Commerce Committee released the following statement on the DC Circuit’s decision in Comcast: “The decision could have broad impacts with potentially unfortunate results for consumers. I am committed to working with the Commission, industry and public interest groups to ensure that the Commission has appropriate legal authority to protect consumers and implement its important new broadband plan.”
  • The Senate Commerce Committee will hold a hearing to review the National Broadband Plan on April 14, 2010, at 2:30 pm Eastern in 253 Russell Senate Office Building. Chairman Genachowski presently is the only scheduled witness.
