Last week we posted details of the employment law changes planned for Spring 2013. Since then there have been some last-minute amendments to the timetable. Of the provisions we mentioned which were still to be brought into effect, only the changes to collective redundancies will now be implemented as planned. 

The remaining changes we highlighted – to the Equality Act, to whistleblowers’ protection and the new employment tribunal rules of procedure – will not now take place until later this year. For more details see our recent posting on our employment blog hrlawlive.co.uk.
