Notice: FCC Annual Regulatory Fees
Most federal licensees and other regulated entities must pay regulatory fees, which usually change each fiscal year, to offset costs associated with the FCC's enforcement, public service, international, policy, and rulemaking activities. Fees vary by type of activity.
Regulatory fees usually are due in August or September, however, the Commission has not yet released an Order establishing FY 2011 regulatory fee amounts or setting a fee due date. Once it releases the fee order, the Commission typically will then release a public notice providing more details of the fees and filing requirements. As in prior years, the Commission will not send pre-bills and companies are advised to check the FCC's Fee Filer system (http://www.fcc.gov/fees/feefiler.html) for bill information once the Fee Filer system has been opened to licensees for this year's regulatory fee payments
