The Stockholm City Court has on 7 July 2016 rendered its judgment in a case where the Swedish Consumer Ombudsman initiated legal proceedings against the airline Norwegian with a claim that the company should pay substantial fines to the Swedish state. The Stockholm City court ruled against the Consumer Ombudsman and instead the court ruled that the Consumer Ombudsman has to compensate the airline for its legal costs.
