The Competition Commission (CC) has published BAA's interim commitments concerning the forced sales of Gatwick, Stanstead, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports. In the meantime however, BAA has appealed the divestiture decision imposed upon it. In the appeal BAA alleges that the decision was affected by bias on the part of a member of the CC panel, whom it claims is connected to a company interested in purchasing one of the airports BAA must sell. BAA has refused to reveal the name of the individual or company concerned.
