On November 26, 2007, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) announced that employers must start using the revised Employment Eligibility Verification Form, otherwise known as Form I-9, no later than December 26, 2007. Employers who do not use the revised Form I-9 on or after December 26, 2007 will face fines and penalties.
