Following Sir John Crosby’s resignation from FSA’s board, FSA has confirmed a KPMG investigation following Paul Moore’s report in 2004 concluded HBOS had made appropriate changes to its regulatory risk function. Paul Moore had contended a new group risk director appointed by HBOS during a restructuring in which it dismissed Mr Moore was not fit and proper for the job. He had also made general allegations about HBOS's risk management.
