This is a reminder that companies seeking an extension of the May 7, 2014 deadline for completion of a remedial investigation in New Jersey must submit a completed application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection by March 7, 2014.
The statute authorizing these extensions was signed by Governor Christie on January 21. The Department of Environmental Protection recently finalized the necessary application forms and posted them, along with appropriate filing instructions, on its website at http://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/timeframe/extension.html.
