The skeleton argument for the UK Government in the ‘Article 50 litigation’ has been published.

The litigation has been brought by claimants contesting that the UK Parliament should vote on whether to invoke Article 50 of the Treaty on the European Union. The Government contends that it is a matter reserved for the Crown.

The hearing dates are set for 13 and 17 October 2016.
