In accordance with agreements reached by National Minimum Wage Commission on February 25th, 2021, minimum wages will be increased by three percent (3%) annually starting on March 1, with the exception of (a) minimum wages for workers from artisanal and tourism small enterprises, whose increase will be of one percent (1%) annually and (b) no increase will apply to free trade zone employees, whose salary was increased by eight-point twenty five percent (8.25%) starting in January first of this year. Increases will be applied fully starting on March 1, 2021 and not biannually and, will be effective up to February 29th, 2022.
