On 12 August 2013, the Large and Medium-sized Companies and Groups (Accounts and Reports) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/1981) were published in final form, together with an explanatory memorandum. These regulations revise the existing provisions for the directors' remuneration report on the remuneration paid to the directors and set out, for the first time, the minimum requirements for the directors' remuneration policy, which will be subject to a binding vote. The final regulations were made on 6 August 2013 and remain in the form published in draft on 24 June 2013. The regulations will enter into force on 1 October 2013. The GC 100 is working with investors to produce guidance on the disclosures which will be required under the regulations. The guidance is expected to be published in September 2013.
