The Social Impact Exchange, a national membership association dedicated to improving the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations’ goals, has the potential to transform charitable giving through a new index system, which is known as the S&I 100. The index functions similarly to the S&P 500 but for nonprofit organizations. According to its website, the index lists 100 “high impact solutions” to current problems America is facing today with more than 16,000 organizations trying to implement these solutions.

The goal is to connect funders to nonprofit organizations that are using effective means to carry out their goals and to assist in implementing these solutions in areas that need it the most.
