• On April 7, 2011, Aventure Communications Technology LLC filed a complaint against Global Crossing Telecommunications, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa. Aventure alleges that in April 2010 Global Crossing stopped paying Aventure originating and terminating access charges, totaling more than $700,000, on interstate calls. Aventure stated that it is limiting the dispute to interstate traffic because it has an action pending before the Iowa Utilities Board to establish an intrastate access rate for so-called High Volume Access Services. Aventure Communications Technology LLC v. Global Crossing Telecommunications, Inc., Civ. No. 11-cv-4037 DEO (N.D. Iowa).
