On July 30, 2012, ALJ Thomas B. Pender issued Order Nos. 13-16 in Certain Electronic Devices Having A Retractable USB Connector (Inv. No. 337-TA-843).

In Order No. 13, ALJ Pender granted a motion filed by Respondent Patriot Memory, LLC to terminate the investigation based upon a stipulation and consent order.  According to the Order, Complainant Anu IP LLC (“Anu”) and the Commission Investigative Staff (“OUII”) did not oppose the motion.  

In Order No. 14, ALJ Pender granted a motion filed by Respondent AIPTEK International, Inc. to terminate the investigation based upon a stipulation and consent order.  According to the Order, Anu and OUII did not oppose the motion.

In Order No. 15, ALJ Pender granted a motion filed by Anu to terminate the investigation as to Corsair Memory, Inc. (“Corsair”) based on Corsair’s representation that, after March 2012, it has purchased the accused devices from Anu’s licensees.  According to the Order, OUII supported the motion.      

In Order No. 16, ALJ Pender granted a joint motion filed by Anu and Respondent Huawei Technology Company, Ltd. (“Huawei”) to terminate the investigation based on the withdrawal of the complaint as to Huawei.  According to the Order, OUII supported the motion.       

The Investigation remains pending against several other Respondents.
