- The European Commission launched the New Consumer Agenda to empower European consumers to play an active role in the green and digital transitions, including through a new corporate governance legislative initiative.
- Carlos San Basilio, the Secretary to the Spanish Treasury, indicated the Spanish debut in the green bond market could be up to 15,000 million euros. This would represent 14% of the total net issuance volume planned for 2021; and
