At the February 2013 Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Land Use, Construction and Housing Council meeting, the Planning Department reported they are ready to recommend a consultant team to commence work on the comprehensive Zoning Code revision. The revised code will be a hybrid of a form-based code and a conventional Euclidean-based code. The work program includes a five-year, phased approach to the development and adoption of the various code provisions. The Chamber will play an active role in reviewing the proposed code revisions.
