Global investigations firm Nardello & Co. is pleased to announce the opening of its Los Angeles office. The office will be led by Managing Director Amie Chang, a Los Angeles native who recently moved back to LA.
“It’s a natural next step for us to establish a California presence in response to our growing client demands on the West Coast,” said Dan Nardello, Chairman and CEO of Nardello & Co. “Especially when it comes to the most sensitive matters, our on the ground expertise and talent is critical, even in an increasingly virtual world.”
Prior to her return to the US, Amie lived and worked in Asia for more than a decade, most recently leading Nardello & Co.’s Hong Kong office. Her experience there included overseeing complex, multi-jurisdictional due diligence investigations on behalf of private equity firms, significant litigation support matters, and sensitive political risk engagements in China and throughout the wider region. Amie began her career in government as an intelligence analyst for the US Department of Defense, where she reported on the leadership and foreign policy of East Asian countries. She was also a diplomat with the US Department of State, where she monitored political and security issues in Hong Kong. She is conversant in Korean.
“Returning to my hometown has been professionally and personally rewarding,” says Chang. “I look forward to applying the investigative skills I’ve honed in Asia to help companies in the US with increasingly complex and evolving international matters.”
The new office is part of the firm’s overall expansion, which included the arrival this year of Managing Directors Howard Master, Chris Urben, and Chris Ribeiro in the US and Alan Kennedy in London. The Los Angeles office is located at 1901 Avenue of the Stars in Century City.
