Telstra has paid the ACMA an administrative penalty of $510,000 and has been issued with a formal warning for failing to meet two Customer Service Guarantee (CSG) benchmarks. The administrative penalty related to Telstra’s failure to provide new landline customer connections in urban areas, while the formal warning related to Telstra’s failure to meet a CSG benchmark for new connections in remote areas.
