The Department of Energy recognized four leading organizations November 16 for expanding the market for electricity produced from renewable energy sources during the annual Green Power Leadership Awards. The originations’ green power programs, including 3Degrees, Washington Gas Energy Sources, Detroit Edison, and The Clean Energy Collective, provide consumers with the opportunity to purchase clean energy from environmentally-preferred sources.
