On Friday, November 22, the San Antonio district court granted a temporary injunction, blocking the San Antonio sick and safe leave ordinance from going into effect on December 1, 2019. Employers do not need to implement sick and safe leave policies that comply with the San Antonio ordinance by the ordinance’s December 1, 2019 effective date.
