Figures released by the Money Advice Service (MAS) show that it is helping more people than ever before with managing their finances. Over 95,000 sessions have taken place this quarter which is an increase of 90% from Q2 in the previous year. People have been contacting MAS by phone, face-to-face, and its website, with a total of 11.4 million customer visits within the first half of the year. The home and mortgage tools have remained the most popular, including the stamp duty calculator, the mortgage affordability calculator and the mortgage calculator.
