on August 26, 2014, the FSC added the Guidelines, including major provisions such as: (1) an insurance company engaging in online insurance business shall establish specific areas within its website for such business or  establish an exclusive website for such business; (2) an insurance company shall back-up the electronic records of consumers’ selections or agreements for at least 5 years; (3) an insurance company shall include the contents of the Guidelines in their internal control and audit systems.
