The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will hold its Annual Meeting in Panama City from 14 to 17 March, calling for major economic authorities of the 48 member countries to analyze the development needs of Latin America and the Caribbean, economic problems that can be foreseen, and priorities of the IDB.

Also attending the meeting will be representatives of other multilateral financial institutions, development agencies, commercial banks, businesses and civil society organizations. This will be the 54th annual meeting of the IDB Board of Governors, the body that is the highest authority of the Bank and is composed mainly of finance ministers and central bank.
