David Cameron has given his support to plans to link the UK with green energy projects in the North, Baltic and Irish Seas. Ministers will work together through the North Seas Offshore Grid Initiative and share experience with others in the Baltic Energy Market Interconnection Plan. The UK is alongside nine other nations; Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Norway and Belgium who agreed to work in partnership on the North Seas Offshore Grid Initiative (NSOGI) last December. A progress report on the progress of NSOGI is due in June 2011. For the latest report, click here
