The Tripartite Table made up of Representatives of the Government of the Republic, the Business Sector and the Labor Sector has reached an agreement to increase the minimum wage in Honduras for the years 2022 and 2023. The increase was agreed on April 1 of the present year and establishes that it will be retroactive to the months of January, February and March and must be paid deferred in the months of April, May and June 2022. The approved salary adjustment was determined as follows:

The aforementioned agreement details the minimum wage that will govern throughout the country in accordance with economic activities, number of workers and amounts.

Workers in the Textile sector and other Free Zone Companies are excluded from the scope of the Agreement, by virtue of the "Agreement for the Promotion of Investment, Generation, Protection and Development of Decent Employment, Health, Access to Credit, Consolidation Debt and Access to Housing for Workers in the Honduran Textile Sector and other Free Zone Companies”, signed on December 13, 2018.
