• Senator John “Jay” Rockefeller IV, D-W.Va., Chair of the Senate Commerce Committee, and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Tex., Ranking Member, sent a joint letter to FCC Chairman Genachowski urging him to ensure that the nation has an interoperable, robust communications network that can withstand emergency situations.
