The U.K. Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFR A) recently called for public comments on draft regulations that would require all companies listed on the London Stock Exchange to report their greenhouse gas (GHG ) emissions. Specifically, the agency is seeking comments on whether regulations should take effect for reporting years ending after April 6, 2013, or whether to delay the reporting start period until October 1, 2013. In a second request for comments, DEFR A is seeking views on revised voluntary guidance on how British organizations should measure and report their environmental performance using key performance indicators. DEFR A will accept comments on the proposed regulations until October 17, 2012.
