On 1 January 2022, legislative amendments that introduce requirements for employers to contribute pensions to employees from the first NOK and first day of employment in private occupational pension schemes entered into force. A transitional period is in place until 30 June 2022 for employers to adapt their existing pension schemes to the new rules.
