VGC Construction Limited v Jackson Civil Engineering Limited [2008] EWHC 2082 (TCC)

This is the first case to address the situation in which a claiming party makes a claim or assertion that is subsequently withdrawn. In such circumstances, it will be necessary to examine critically whether the claim is being abandoned or simply being held ‘in abeyance’.
