A new article on the Crain's Cleveland Business website reports that eight economic development agencies from across Ohio are joining forces in an effort to expand the state’s advanced energy industry. The group will be composed of NorTech, the Ohio Business Council, EWI (formerly the Edison Welding Institute), CincyTech, the Dayton Development Coalition, Rocket Ventures of Toledo, TechColumbus and TechGrowth Ohio of Athens. The group will announce its name this week at NorTech’s Advanced Energy B2B Conference and Expo in Akron, according to the article.
