The Controller General of Patents Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) has issued a Public Notice dated September 06, 2019, extending an opportunity to all concern to get errors, (if any) rectified in the trademark Registration Certificate.
In furtherance of the aforesaid the CGPDTM has also provided a specific format in which the representation for correction of details related to errors in registration certificate is to be submitted with the Registry.
Deadline- The deadline for submitting the request for correction in registration certificate is on or before October 9, 2019. To be sent to- email@example.com, with CC to firstname.lastname@example.org alongwith the subject line “Correction in Certificate of Trademark”.
Requirement- Clear mention of the required correction in registration certificate alongwith documentary proof evidencing the correction. The Public Notice can be found here.
