Modern Healthcare reports that a survey released on February 26 by the Kaiser Family Foundation found that half of the respondents continue to hold an unfavorable overall opinion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), while only 35% had a favorable view.  More than half of the respondents, however, reported that they still had little knowledge of the ACA’s provisions, including the availability of state and federal insurance exchanges.

The continued widespread ignorance of the law is presumably discouraging to federal officials, given the government’s extensive efforts to educate the public regarding the existence of the exchanges and the other major features of the law.
