The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2015 and the Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 8 Domestic Infringements) Order 2015 came into force on the 1 October 2015. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2015 amends the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA) by adding that the investigatory powers of the CRA will apply to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. TheEnterprise Act 2002 (Part 8 Domestic Infringements) Order 2015 amends the Enterprise Act 2002 by providing that certain acts or omissions under the CRA could constitute a “domestic infringement” relating to UK consumers.
