ESMA has published four documents relating to the amended Transparency Directive (TD) in order to promote the implementation and harmonised application of the directive when it comes into force on 26 November. The publications are:
- an updated Q&A document;
- a new standard form for issuers to disclose their home Member State. This reflects the TD requirement for issuers admitting securities to trading to disclose this information;
- a new standard form for shareholders to notify major holdings of voting rights to competent authorities and issuers as required under the TD; and
- the indicative list of financial instruments subject to notification requirements, now published as a stand-alone document.
