Brazil is working on a regulation for the micro insurance market.

This month, Armando Vergílio, agent of the Brazilian Private Insurance Authority (Superintendência de Seguros Privados - Susep), will present a draft for discussion to the National Private Insurance Council (Conselho Nacional de Seguros Privados - CNSP), in order to create a multilateral study group on the feasibility of micro insurance. The study group intends to be the precedent for a regulation that will turn micro-insurance into a reality in Brazil.
