FCA has published a factsheet aimed at helping insurers understand whether they have appropriate controls, oversight and due diligence procedures when using private investigators. The sheet looks at when use of investigators falls within the regulatory definition of outsourcing and the results of an FCA review of 10 insurers to establish their current practices.
