A further draft of the AML/CTF Guidance Notes on the prevention and the use of the financial system for the purposes of money laundering and terrorist financing has been published by a committee representing various sectors of the financial services industry and has been made available on the Central Bank of Ireland's website. Feedback on this latest draft is invited and the closing date for comments is 23 February next. The Guidance Notes are again structured in two parts. Part 1 containing core guidance which provides generic guidance and is applicable to all financial services designated persons. Part 2 sets out additional guidance notes for specific sectors.
