On April 15, 2009, the FCC issued a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture against the licensee of an Indianapolis, Indiana television station for repeated and willful violation of the main studio rule. The Commission proposed a $9,000 forfeiture for the station's failure to maintain 1) a publicly accessible main studio; 2) a meaningful management and staff presence at its main studio; and 3) a listed local telephone number. The station also failed to notify the Commission of the relocation of its main studio.
