The Pensions Regulator has launched a new online system to enable schemes to keep their information up-to-date. The system requests only essential information and updates the Regulator's internal database when a return has been submitted. Once schemes have submitted a return, they will be able to update and amend their details at any time.

As the Pension Protection Fund will use information held by the Regulator to calculate PPF levies from 31 March 2008, it is important to ensure that the correct scheme information is supplied to the Regulator.

Schemes will be informed about access to their scheme return via the scheme return notice.
