In a recent case reported on May 18, 2013, the Intermediate People’s Court of Dezhou Municipality, Shandong Province dismissed the claims of a company against its former employee for breach of his confidentiality obligation, and ruled that a customer list with only customer names indicated should not in itself be considered as the company’s trade secret.
