The Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) has published approved amendments to the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Framework for Consolidated Financial Reporting (Guidelines) which were submitted for public consultation on 20 April 2007. The revised Guidelines replace those published in December 2006. CEBS confirms that no further amendments will be made to the Guidelines during 2007. The Guidelines, which are not mandatory, are used by credit institutions when preparing their consolidated supervisory financial returns under international financial reporting standards (IAS/IFRS) as and when required by their national supervisory authority.
