The deadline for responses to the FCA’s guidance consultation and thematic review relating to risks to customers from performance management is approaching. 

The FCA says that all firms with staff who deal directly with retail customers should read this report and consider:

  • how their approach to performance management may increase the risk of mis-selling;
  • whether their governance and controls are adequate; and
  • taking action where required to ensure the risks are adequately managed.

The guidance consultation can be read in full here and responses are requested by Friday 15 May 2015.
