On April 4, 2017, Chief ALJ Charles E. Bullock issued Order No. 6 in Certain Arrowheads With Arcuate Blades and Components Thereof (Inv. No. 337-TA-1033).

By way of background, this investigation is based on a November 30, 2016 complaint filed by Flying Arrow Archery, LLC alleging violation of Section 337 by way of unlawful importation into the U.S., selling for importation, and/or selling within the U.S. after importation certain arrowheads with arcuate blades and components thereof that infringe one or more claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 8,920,269; D713,919 S ; and D729,336 S. See our December 6, 2016 and January 4, 2017 posts for more details on the complaint and Notice of Investigation, respectively.

According to Order No. 6, ALJ Bullock granted Complainant’s motion to find Respondents Arthur Sifuentes, Liu Mengbao, Jiangfeng Mao, Sandum Precision Industry (China) Co., Ltd. (In-Sail), and Zhou Yang in default based on their failure to respond to the Complaint and Notice of Investigation, or otherwise participate in this Investigation.
